WHAT WE BELIEVE
TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is present and active in the world and in the lives of those who believe. We believe he teaches, convicts, transforms us, and guides us into truth.
​
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus is God’s only Son, fully God and fully man, was born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive today and will return one day.

THE BIBLE​
We believe in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which was spoken to people throughout history who wrote it down in their own context and language. We believe the Bible contains all truth necessary to lead us into a relationship with Jesus and help us grow in that relationship.​
SIN
We believe sin came into the world when humanity chose to put themselves before God. Without Jesus’ forgiveness and our obedience to live obediently to the Spirit, people will always live selfishly bringing destructive results on themselves and those around them. Without God’s forgiveness, we believe people will spend eternity apart from God.

ATONEMENT
Atonement is a biblical word that means being made right with God. We believe that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, all of humanity can be made right with God.

SANTIFICATION
We believe that God can work in a person’s life so that they can actually be transformed and changed to be entirely devoted to God with a pure heart and mature character.
​
RESURRECTION
We believe that Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Our church welcomes guests from all different walks of life, just be comfortable and tasteful. Jeans and a T-shirt are as acceptable as a suit or a dress.

Our Pastor
Rev. Daniel Wierenga, an ordained Nazarene elder, brings over 20 years of pastoral experience, having served faithfully as both an executive pastor and currently as a lead pastor. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Daniel is a CPA with expertise in accounting and finance, uniquely equipping him to navigate the organizational needs of the Church. Daniel’s heart beats with a passion for Jesus and a deep love for the Church. His ministry is marked by dynamic preaching, intentional discipleship, and shepherding God’s people with care. A gifted team builder, Daniel excels at helping individuals discover and use their God-given gifts
and abilities for His glory. Dedicated and hardworking, Daniel’s life and ministry reflect his commitment to bringing people to Jesus and equipping the Church to fulfill its mission. Daniel’s journey is enriched by the partnership of his wife, Kelley, who shares his passion for ministry and service. Together, they are excited about the opportunity to live in Eureka and to join in the mission of building the Church with you. Their enthusiasm, faithfulness, and vision inspire confidence in their ability to lead Eureka Grace Church into a thriving future.
